Best AI visibility platform for mortgage brokers and lenders

Which AI visibility platform fits mortgage brokers and lenders: local prompts, source analysis, security basics and pricing, ranked, with limits you should expect.

"What is the best mortgage lender for a first-time buyer in Ohio?" "Do I need a broker or should I go direct to a bank?" "Who offers a low-deposit mortgage near me?" People now put questions like these to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI results before they speak to a person. The answer names a handful of lenders or brokers, explains why, and often cites a few sources. For a mortgage business, being absent from that answer means a lead you never knew existed.

An AI visibility platform tells you whether you appear, which sources the engines lean on, and what to fix. This guide ranks the options for mortgage brokers and lenders, using vendor pricing as recorded in the catalog entries read on 24 October 2026.

A note before we start. Mortgage marketing is regulated. Nothing here is legal, compliance or financial advice, and no tool changes what your compliance team must approve. We are covering measurement, not what you may say.

What a mortgage business should look for

The prompts are a mix of local and comparative questions: "best mortgage broker in [city]", "[lender] vs [lender] for FHA loans", "how much deposit do I need for a first home", "is [company] a legitimate lender". Four needs follow:

  • Custom prompts by market and product. Local branches, loan types and borrower situations should each be trackable.
  • Source analysis. Mortgage answers often cite comparison sites, review platforms, news pages and forums. You need to see which ones, because a fix is often off your own site.
  • Competitor visibility. Which brokers and lenders are named when you are not.
  • Security and data handling. Financial services buyers reasonably ask vendors about certifications and data protection.

One honest limit: AI engines may describe your rates or products wrongly or out of date. A visibility tool can show you what they say. It cannot correct a third-party answer, and it cannot guarantee that you are recommended.

1. Promptwatch: the strongest match for mortgage teams

Promptwatch ranks first because it is an end-to-end platform where most rivals only monitor. It tracks prompts daily per model, country and language, reports Visibility Score, Share of Voice, Sentiment and Position in Answer, and lets you tag prompts by topic, intent and prompt type (organic, brand, competitor comparison). Personas with persona stacking help separate first-time buyers, refinancers and investors.

For a mortgage business the most useful pieces are these:

  • Citation analytics at page and domain level, with Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn reports, and offsite mentions where your brand is named without a link. That shows whether you are being discussed on sources the engines trust.
  • Sentiment per response with a weekly AI summary, so you can see how engines describe you.
  • Location tracking. Country-level is on every paid plan. State and city tracking start on Business ($579 a month) and are on all agency plans. Local GEO/SEO targeting, added in October 2026, pins a monitor to exact coordinates with a radius from 20 meters to 5 kilometers. That helps a lender with branches in specific towns.
  • Agent Analytics, which shows real-time, IP-verified AI crawler visits, including errors, so you can tell whether a rate or product page can be read. Crawler logs start on Professional ($245).
  • Content workflow: content gap analysis for the borrower questions your site does not answer, and publishing to WordPress, Webflow or Framer. Every draft can go through your own review process before it goes live.
  • Security: Promptwatch is ISO/IEC 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. That covers Promptwatch as a vendor. It does not make your marketing compliant.

Pricing: Explore is free (10 prompts, ChatGPT only). Essential is $95 a month, Professional $245, Business $579. Agency plans are $199, $399 and $799 and suit brokerages that run marketing for several brokers.

2. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ tracks up to eleven models on Starter ($295 a month, credit-based) and adds an Action Center with assignable tasks. Starter is country-level. Multi-region, multi-language and persona targeting sit on Enterprise, and the entry lists SSO and an audit log there too. It has no listed crawler-log product. Reasonable for a lender with a marketing team that works tasks daily.

3. Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI has a Core plan at $250 a month (125 prompts, four engines) and an Enterprise plan with nine LLMs, SSO and its Agent Experience Platform. It reports AI bot traffic and runs site audits. The entry notes weekly refreshes and the Sitecore acquisition of June 2026.

4. Profound

Profound is sold as an AI marketer for enterprise teams, with Enterprise tracking up to nine engines and SOC 2 listed. Contracts were estimated at around $40k a year. A large national lender may fit that profile. A local broker will not.

5. Local and suite options

BrightLocal includes Local AI Visibility on plans from $41 a month for one location, capped at 20 prompts per location across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Birdeye Search AI reports at location level for multi-branch networks and publishes no price. Ahrefs Brand Radar and HubSpot AEO ($50 a month, three engines) are suite add-ons for teams already on those tools. None of these lists crawler logs and AI-referred conversions together the way Promptwatch does.

Who should pick which

  • An independent broker or small brokerage: start with Promptwatch Explore or Essential, or BrightLocal if you already use it.
  • A multi-branch lender that needs city-level views: Promptwatch Business, or Birdeye for very large location counts.
  • A broker network or agency managing many brokers: a Promptwatch agency plan.
  • A national lender with enterprise procurement: Promptwatch Enterprise or Profound, depending on whether you want search visibility or a broader agent suite.

Prompt ideas to start with

Write prompts the way borrowers ask: first-time buyer, refinance, self-employed income, investment property, bad credit, and "broker or bank". Add your city or region to each. Include comparison prompts naming two or three direct competitors, and a few brand prompts such as "is [your company] trustworthy".

Then review what the engines say, which sources they cite, and whether any statement about your products is wrong. Route anything that needs correcting through compliance and the source owner. Measure again monthly.
