SearchInsight.ai review (2026): AI prompts and Google rankings in one $59 dashboard

SearchInsight.ai pairs AI prompt tracking with Google AI Overview and organic rank tracking from $59/mo, but its own pages disagree on billing, the trial and refresh. A monitor only.

SearchInsight.ai is a new tracker that puts AI visibility and classic Google rankings in the same dashboard. You give it prompts, it runs them across AI engines and records whether your brand is named, cited, recommended or left out, and it adds competitor share of voice and citation tracking. What makes it unusual at this price is the second half. Every plan also tracks keywords in Google AI Overviews and in the organic results, so an SEO team can watch both from one login.

It launched with a PRWeb release dated 27 May 2026 under a Tel Aviv dateline, describing a team of SEO practitioners. On this site's scale it is a monitor. It alerts you when something shifts and sends scheduled reports, but it neither recommends specific pages nor changes any. That's fine for what it is. Just know that the work starts where its dashboard ends.

Plans and limits

Prices and limits were read on the searchinsight.ai homepage on 20 October 2026.

Across its plans the official information page lists ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. All plans come with a 14-day trial. The site's AI information page notes that its pricing reflects rates as of June 2026, and there is a free query fan-out tool on the site as well.

What works

Bundling organic and AI Overview rank tracking with AI prompts is the selling point, and for a small SEO team it saves a second subscription. The limits are published in more detail than most trackers manage, request caps included. And $59 for 100 prompts and two seats is low.

What to check before paying

This is a young product, and its pages don't agree with each other on several points.

The trial is described as "credit card required" under the plans and in the FAQ, and as "no credit card required" elsewhere on the same site. The homepage calculator shows the $59 as "per month, billed annually", and no monthly-billing price is shown. Budget on the assumption that you pay a year up front until the vendor says otherwise.

Starter includes three engines, but the site doesn't say which three. Engine lists also vary between pages (some leave out Copilot), and the homepage dashboard demo only shows ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI figures.

Then there is refresh. The FAQ says prompts run daily. The request caps tell a different story: 2,400 requests across 100 prompts on 3 engines is about eight runs per prompt per engine a month, and Pro's 16,000 across 400 prompts on 5 engines works out the same. Either you track fewer prompts than the plan allows, or you don't get daily data.

AI traffic analytics is marked "coming soon".

Where it falls short against a full platform

Visibility data without traffic data answers half the question. You can see that ChatGPT started citing a page, but not whether anyone clicked through, and SearchInsight doesn't yet ship the piece that would tell you. There's no crawler-log feature described either, so you can't check whether AI bots are reading the pages you're trying to get cited.

On our scale the bigger gap is action. SearchInsight tells you where you're missing. Planning the content, writing it and getting it live is all on you.

When Promptwatch is the better buy

Promptwatch Essential costs $95 a month, about $36 more than SearchInsight's Starter, which is shown as billed annually. For that you get 50 prompts refreshed daily across all tracked LLMs and 6,000 responses a month, against Starter's 2,400 requests. You also get 200,000 visitor events of AI traffic analytics with conversion tracking, which SearchInsight hasn't shipped, and 5 AEO articles a month from Content Agents that publish to WordPress, Webflow or Framer after review. Prompts come with search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs. Professional at $245 adds Agent Analytics crawler logs and city-level tracking.

One honest point in SearchInsight's favour: Promptwatch's fact sheet doesn't list organic SERP rank tracking. It connects to Google Search Console and DataForSEO instead. If your team wants organic keyword positions and AI prompts on one screen above all else, SearchInsight does that natively.

Verdict

SearchInsight.ai is a fairly priced newcomer with a clever bundle for SEO teams. It is also a pure monitor, and a young one whose pages disagree about the trial, the billing basis and how often prompts run. Get those answers in writing before you pay for a year. If you want the visits, the conversions and the content work alongside the tracking, Promptwatch is the better place to start.
