ViRank review (2026): a WordPress autopilot that applies fixes and lets you roll them back

ViRank applies meta titles, schema, internal links and alt texts on WordPress after you approve them, with per-change rollback, from 199 EUR/mo excl. VAT. Its AI tracking is the weak half.

ViRank does the work. That puts it ahead of most tools in this directory before we've looked at anything else. It is Dutch SEO and GEO software for WordPress and WooCommerce, made by ViVortis B.V. in Eindhoven. A plugin connects your site. ViRank then tracks your Google positions daily, asks AI assistants a set of market questions every week, ranks opportunities by estimated revenue, and applies changes such as meta titles, schema, internal links and alt texts once you approve them.

The pricing page names Zac Bathi as founder. The buyer it describes is a Dutch SME or WooCommerce shop with no SEO person in house that wants fixes applied rather than reported. It runs next to Yoast or Rank Math, so you don't have to migrate anything.

Plans

Prices were read on virank.nl/prijzen on 20 October 2026, excluding VAT. Both plans include every feature; the difference is capacity.

ViRankUnlimited
Monthly199 EUR399 EUR
Yearly1,791 EUR (149 EUR a month)3,591 EUR (299 EUR a month)

Yearly billing charges 9 of 12 months. There are no setup fees or add-ons, plans cancel monthly without notice, and the 14-day trial needs no card and stops by itself.

How the autopilot works

The design is careful, and that's what we like most. ViRank prepares a change and you approve it. If you trust a fix type, you can let Autopilot apply approved types automatically. Before every change it takes a snapshot, logs the change, and lets you roll back that one change with a click. If you cancel, the applied changes stay on your site. Content is created as drafts and only goes live after your approval, unless you switch auto-publishing on.

Prioritisation runs on a Money Score that converts search volume, position, competition and your own GA4 conversion data into an estimate of euros per month. That is a better way to rank a backlog than a severity label, as long as your GA4 data is clean. Search Console and GA4 are connected, and ViRank says data is processed in the EU.

What works

It does the WordPress work itself, with approval and rollback per change, and that combination is rarer than it should be. Agentic tools that push changes without a per-change undo make teams nervous, and nervous teams switch automation off. ViRank's model makes it easy to say yes.

The pricing is simple: one feature set, two capacities. The case studies on its site name the client, the period and the GA4 and Search Console source behind each figure. They come from the practice of ViVortis, the agency behind ViRank, so read them as agency results rather than proof of what the software does alone.

What to check before you sign

The AI half is where the site gets inconsistent. The pricing page says the AI measurement runs weekly on ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and Gemini. The homepage says 20 market questions a week on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, and its summary box says Google plus four AI engines. Twenty questions a week and 100 a month are not quite the same thing either. Ask which engines and how many questions apply to your plan.

The homepage also claims ViRank is the only Dutch software that measures whether AI recommends you. That isn't so; Trackbase, to name one, is a Dutch tracker in our directory.

WordPress is the only CMS described. If your shop runs on Shopify or Webflow, ViRank isn't an option.

Where it falls short against a full platform

ViRank is an SEO autopilot with an AI visibility add-on. The AI measurement is weekly and, on the base plan, small. Per answer it records mention rate per engine, prominence, the competitors named and the sources behind the answer, which is useful. But it doesn't describe prompt volumes, query fan-outs or crawler logs, so you can't see which AI bots read the pages it just changed, or follow a crawl to a citation.

When Promptwatch is the better buy

If organic Google traffic is the main channel and you want on-page fixes done for you, ViRank is the more direct tool and Promptwatch doesn't replace it. Applying meta titles or alt texts to existing WordPress pages isn't among Promptwatch's listed features.

If AI answers are the channel you care about, Promptwatch goes much further. Essential at $95 a month tracks 50 prompts daily with search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs, and includes 5 AEO articles from Content Agents, which publish through Promptwatch's official WordPress plugin after review. Professional at $245 adds Agent Analytics crawler logs (ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and Meta's crawler) with a crawl-to-citation path, citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit and YouTube level, and 15 articles a month.

The two can also run side by side on one WordPress site: ViRank for the technical and on-page SEO, Promptwatch for AI visibility and the content that targets it.

Verdict

ViRank is a practical, carefully built choice for a WordPress business that wants SEO fixes done rather than listed, and the snapshot and rollback design deserves credit. Its AI tracking is a weekly add-on that the site describes inconsistently. Buy it for the autopilot. For AI search, measure and publish with Promptwatch.

FAQ

Does ViRank change my site without asking?

No. By default it prepares each change for your approval. You can let Autopilot apply approved fix types automatically, and every change has a snapshot and its own rollback.

Which AI engines does ViRank measure?

The pricing page lists ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and Gemini, weekly. The homepage lists ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. The site doesn't reconcile the two.

Does ViRank work outside WordPress?

No other CMS is described. Promptwatch's Content Agents publish to WordPress, Webflow and Framer; details on promptwatch.com.
