AutoSEO review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #263A daily-article service at $149/mo that also builds backlinks through its own network of customer sites.
Our verdict
AutoSEO is a simple daily-article service whose backlink network is the main thing to scrutinize: it is a model Google's spam policies can treat as a link scheme, so get specifics before buying. Measurement is limited to its own article and backlink dashboard. Promptwatch is a safer measurement anchor for AI search: prompt tracking, citation analytics, Agent Analytics crawler logs and visitor analytics with conversions, none of which depend on a link network.
Best for: Store owners who want a hands-off daily blog and accept a network-based backlink model.
AutoSEO (getautoseo.com) publishes one researched article a day to your site, 30 a month, and says it builds backlinks from other sites in its network. You see each article before it publishes through a transparency dashboard, and can cancel in one click. It offers an API and an MCP server for listing sites, articles, backlinks and stats, and for editing an article's title, body or featured image.
Pricing was read on the Shopify App Store listing for AutoSEO Content Publisher, from developer ZII Ltd, and on getautoseo.com on 24 October 2026: $149/mo with a 3-day free trial. The getautoseo.com home page did not render a price table. The API was read on getautoseo.com/developers the same day.
AutoSEO covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.
Plan and limits
apps.shopify.com/autoseo and getautoseo.com (read 24 October 2026). The Shopify listing shows a $149 monthly plan with a 3-day free trial and 30 researched articles a month, autoposted, plus backlinks from sites in the vendor's network. getautoseo.com lists the same 30 articles and 100 DA worth of backlinks.
We could not read annual pricing or refund terms on the vendor's own pages; a competitor's page cites them, so we do not repeat them.
API and MCP
getautoseo.com/developers (read 24 October 2026) documents read endpoints for sites, articles, backlinks and period stats, and write endpoints that edit articles only. Limits are 60 requests per minute and 200 article edits a day. Assistants connect to mcp.getautoseo.com and sign in with OAuth.

If you buy AutoSEO for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, city-level geo; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).
What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not
AutoSEO's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).
The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.
