Our verdict

Chooj is a small, early Dutch tracker with two things going for it: it measures in Dutch and it records how the engines describe you, not just whether they do. Everything else says wait: ten prompts, two engines live, placeholder reviews and a price the page states two ways. If you are a SEOBOB client it is a natural add-on. Otherwise, Briljant is the more mature Dutch monitor, and Promptwatch is the Dutch-founded platform that publishes crawler logs, conversions and publishing on top.

Best for: Dutch freelancers and small businesses who want a simple daily check on whether ChatGPT and Gemini name them, in Dutch, from an agency they may already work with.

Chooj (chooj.nl) is a stand-alone AI visibility tracker from the Dutch SEO agency SEOBOB in Cuijk. It asks your ten most important questions every day and records whether your company is named, in which position, with what sentiment and in what exact wording, then shows share of voice against the competitors the engines name. It is built for Dutch SMEs and freelancers, with prompts in Dutch, and is also bundled into the SEOBOB Partnerschap package.

The headline price is 49 EUR/mo excl. VAT, repeated in the FAQ, although a spec card on the same page shows 29 EUR/mo. Coverage is also stated two ways: the header lists ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview, while the FAQ says only ChatGPT and Gemini are tracked daily today with other engines to follow. First results appear after about two minutes, with no sales call and card or debit payment.

Chooj is honest about being new: its testimonial and customer-logo blocks are placeholders. It is a Dutch-language starting point, not a platform. Promptwatch publishes the full stack from the same country.

What the page states

chooj.nl (reviewed 2026-09-12; no separate pricing page). The header and FAQ state Chooj is available as a stand-alone tool for 49 EUR a month excl. VAT, including daily checks on ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview, with sentiment, position and the exact wording used. A spec card lower on the page lists 4 models, 10 prompts per website adjustable daily, first results after 120 seconds, no sales call, and a price of 29 EUR a month excl. VAT. The FAQ, asked which models are tracked, says ChatGPT and Gemini daily with other engines coming soon.

Chooj is a product of SEOBOB (De Nieuwe Erven 3, Cuijk; founder Bob van Varik) and is also included in the SEOBOB Partnerschap package. The customer section reads 'wordt nog bekend' on every logo and the review block contains placeholder copy. We list those as facts about the page, not as criticism of the intent.

Early, and how far it is from a platform

The useful idea in Chooj is the wording. Knowing that Gemini calls you 'a budget option' while ChatGPT calls you 'the specialist' is more actionable than a mention count, and the daily share-of-voice view against 86 named competitors in the demo shows the shape of the Dutch answer landscape. For a small firm that just wants to know whether AI knows it exists, that is enough.

It is a long way from a platform. There is no API, no content workflow, no crawler-log view of AI bot hits, no crawl-to-citation path and no conversion attribution. Promptwatch, also founded in the Netherlands, publishes real-UI monitoring across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Agent Analytics with named CDN integrations, visitor analytics with conversions and Content Agents to Webflow and Framer, with a free Explore plan for ten prompts on ChatGPT.
