RankNow review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #270Fifteen task agents across organic, AI Overviews and paid search with three human approval checkpoints, from $49/mo.
Our verdict
RankNow is a broad, supervised agent suite at a low entry price, and the approval gates are sensible for agency work. Its AI tracking is weekly and capped at a handful of prompts, and it is not a measurement platform for citations or crawlers. For that layer Promptwatch is the practical choice: prompt tracking at scale with query fan-outs and personas, citation analytics, Agent Analytics crawler logs and visitor analytics, with agency plans from $199 a month.
Best for: Small agencies and in-house teams that want organic, AI Overview and paid work coordinated with explicit approvals.
RankNow (theranknow.com) describes itself as an agentic platform for organic search, AI Overviews, paid search and compliance. Fifteen agents handle keyword research, audits, briefs, drafts, an editor pass, on-page diffs, LLM prompt tracking, AI Overview checks, backlink outreach, paid campaigns, compliance scans, Google update monitoring, content distribution and reporting. Briefs, drafts and each external action pass through a human approval. The content flow is brief, draft in Google Docs, editor agent, approval, publish to WordPress.
Plans and features were read on theranknow.com on 24 October 2026: Starter $49/mo, Growth $69/mo and Pro $99/mo, per project. The page gives no free trial or refund terms, and its LLM prompt tracking runs weekly.
RankNow covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not
RankNow's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).
The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.
