Our verdict

SEOmatic is the strongest proof-of-work story among the agents we read: verified-live edits, rollback and a control-group lift report. AI visibility is a side module rather than the core. Promptwatch is the better source of record for that: prompt tracking with fan-outs and personas, page-level citation analytics, Agent Analytics crawler logs to confirm AI bots reach the pages SEOmatic ships, and visitor analytics for AI-referred conversions.

Best for: Agencies and in-house teams that want agents to ship changes into their CMS with rollback and a proof report.

SEOmatic (seomatic.ai) connects to Google Search Console, scans how your site shows in ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Overviews, ranks the work by expected clicks and has agents write titles, schema, internal links, refreshes and new pages straight into your CMS. You choose per workflow: undoable fixes can ship on their own, the rest waits, or Approval mode holds everything. Each edit keeps a copy of the original for one-click rollback, and results are compared with the rest of the site over the same weeks.

Plans were read on seomatic.ai and seomatic.ai/pricing on 24 October 2026: Launch $99/mo, Scale $249/mo and Infrastructure $699/mo, with a $1, 14-day trial credited to the first payment. Credit packs and workspace add-ons are listed. It publishes to 14-plus CMS options and is controllable by MCP, a CLI and a REST API on top tiers.

SEOmatic covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

Plans and limits

seomatic.ai (read 24 October 2026). Launch is $99 a month: 1 site, 3 seats, up to 3M AI credits a month, weekly AI search visibility. Scale is $249: up to 5 sites, 5 seats, up to 8M credits, templates, custom hosting, bring-your-own keys, daily AI search visibility. Infrastructure is $699: up to 20 sites, 10 seats, up to 20M credits, white label, REST API.

Add-ons: an extra client workspace is $39 a month, and credit packs are 500K for $39, 1.5M for $99 and 5M for $299. Annual plans show 2 months off.

Control and proof

seomatic.ai (read 24 October 2026) says changes are verified by re-reading the published page, each change keeps a copy of the original, and booking, checkout and pricing pages are never edited unattended. The page adds that rankings can take weeks to follow a rollback.

What you still need after this product

On this listing, SEOmatic is a Agentic SEO automation for Agencies and in-house teams that want agents to ship changes into their CMS with rollback and a proof report. What we sourced here: Search Console-based diagnosis and weekly Monday re-planning; Agents write titles, schema, internal links, content refreshes and bulk pages; Publishing to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost, Wix, HubSpot, Framer, Sanity, Contentful and GitHub pull requests, among others; AI search visibility checks, weekly on Launch and daily on Scale; Proof reports comparing changed pages with a held-out control.

If you buy SEOmatic for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, city-level geo; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).

What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not

SEOmatic's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).

The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.
