AI Brand Monitoring Tools (Official): Brand24, Mention, Meltwater, Talkwalker, Sprinklr
What Brand24, Mention, Meltwater, Talkwalker and Sprinklr officially ship for monitoring AI answers as of October 2026, and where a social listening suite stops and an AI search platform starts.
These five names come from social and media listening. Most of them have since added something for AI answers, and the vendors' own pages are the only reliable guide to what that something is. We read them on 3 October 2026.
Below is what each one officially ships for AI answers, followed by what none of them do. The verdict at the end isn't "replace your listening suite." It's narrower than that.
Brand24: Chatbeat
Brand24 splits the job in two. The core product listens to people, and a sister tool called Chatbeat listens to the models. Chatbeat samples nine engines, including Grok, DeepSeek, Copilot and both of Google's AI surfaces, and scores each brand on visibility, ranking position, tone and the sources the answers lean on. It also hands back GEO suggestions, which is as close as any tool here gets to acting.
Suggestions are still a to-do list for someone else, though. The output lands in the same dashboard as Brand24's social mentions and its alerting, which is handy for a comms team and does nothing to change the answer. Brand24 doesn't publish a price for the AI add-on. Brand24 review.
Our read: the widest engine coverage of the five, and the obvious pick if Brand24 already handles your listening.
Mention: now part of Agorapulse
Mention changed hands in 2025, when Agorapulse bought it out of a court-ordered receivership. You can't buy Mention on its own anymore. What survives is Agorapulse Listening: the major social networks plus news, forums and the open web, two years of history at most, and share of voice. It comes as an add-on to Agorapulse's upper plans (Advanced or Tailored), or through a sales conversation if you want it alone.
AI answers are another matter. Mention's help center touches ChatGPT once, in an article about getting ChatGPT to draft Boolean alert queries, and that article itself says this "is not a dedicated feature of Mention." We looked and found no Mention or Agorapulse product that watches what AI engines say about a brand. That could change. For now, this one neither reports on AI answers nor acts on them.
Meltwater: GenAI Lens
Meltwater's answer is GenAI Lens, usually sold as an add-on to the main Meltwater platform, with no public price. Its engine list runs to nine, from the usual chat assistants to Llama, DeepSeek and both Google AI surfaces. You can tune the prompts, and it scores how prevalent your brand is and how much of the AI conversation you own.
The source tracking is where a PR team will feel at home: it shows which press releases, earned coverage, Reddit threads or Wikipedia pages the engines drew on, and it adds GEO recommendations. That tells you which outlet to pitch. It won't write or publish anything on your own site.
Check freshness before a sales call, because the official page disagrees with itself. The main copy promises a daily refresh, while the FAQ says every two days. Ask which applies to your contract. GenAI Lens review.
Talkwalker: LLM Insights
Since Hootsuite owns Talkwalker, LLM Insights shows up in two places: inside Talkwalker itself, and as an extra for Hootsuite Listening customers. It watches four engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity) for how they talk about you, your rivals and your category. Beyond the usual mention and sentiment counts, it flags misinformation and the gaps in your narrative, which is a useful framing for a comms team.
A later update made it more of a diagnostic tool. Prompts can now be set up from your brand's point of view, there's a citations table that ranks the domains engines cite and lets you open the exact URLs, and two headline numbers were added for visibility and average position. You learn which domain is shaping the answer. Fixing that domain is still your job.
Talkwalker quotes every plan individually. LLM Insights is listed on the Core plan, and the Business plan unlocks more LLM channels.
Sprinklr: LLM Insights
Sprinklr is the newest arrival. LLM Insights was announced on June 10, 2026 as part of Sprinklr Insights, started as a limited preview with general availability slated for the third quarter, and appears in the July 26.7 release notes. The product page names ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and says "and more" without listing the rest.
Its pitch rests on prompt sourcing. Rather than asking you for a keyword list, Sprinklr builds prompts out of what customers already say to you in social posts, reviews, community threads and customer care conversations. The reporting then breaks results down by engine and covers the familiar ground: visibility, sentiment, cited domains and trending topics. Every prompt draws down your contracted allowance, and pricing isn't public.
That prompt idea is the smartest thing in this group. A company that hears from customers at volume has better raw material for prompts than any keyword tool. But better questions still end in a report, not a fix.
What none of them publish
Put the five side by side and the pattern is consistent. The AI modules sample answers on a schedule and report mentions, sentiment, position and sources. That's monitoring, and from a comms seat it's useful.
None of them publishes AI crawler logs, so none can tell you whether ChatGPTBot or PerplexityBot fetched the page you want cited. None publishes conversion tracking for visitors who arrive from AI engines. None ships content agents that write a correction and publish it to your CMS. They tell you the story changed, and changing it back is left to you.
Keep the suite, add the layer that acts
The honest advice is to keep your listening suite. Social, press and review monitoring is what Brand24, Agorapulse, Meltwater, Talkwalker and Sprinklr are built for, and an AI search platform doesn't replace that.
For the AI-answer side, add a platform built to act on what it finds. Promptwatch is the one we'd run next to a listening suite. It tracks prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, AI Overviews and AI Mode from the real interfaces, with sentiment and share of voice, so comms gets metrics it already understands.
Then it covers what the suites skip. Citation analytics go down to individual Reddit threads and YouTube videos. Agent Analytics reads crawler logs from Cloudflare, Vercel, Fastly and other CDNs and shows the crawl-to-citation path. Visitor analytics track AI-referred conversions. Content Agents publish corrections to Webflow or Framer once someone approves them. A Slack integration and an MCP server let findings land where the team already works.
Unlike the AI modules above, the pricing is public: free Explore, Essential at $95/mo, Professional at $245/mo with crawler logs, and Business at $579/mo. Enterprise adds SSO and white-label.
