Ceyo vs Promptwatch: Which Agents Actually Finish the Job?

Ceyo's Technical Agent against Promptwatch's Content Agents and crawler analytics. What each automates, what each proves, and what each costs in 2026.

This site ranks tools by how much of the loop they close: monitor, diagnose, act, verify. Ceyo and Promptwatch both clear the first three. They part ways on the last, and on which kind of action they automate.

Ceyo details are from its homepage and pricing page on 2026-09-30. Promptwatch details are from the fact sheet sourced from its llms.txt.

Monitor

Both capture real interface answers. Ceyo covers eight engines with daily refresh, raw response retention and Share of Answer per model. Promptwatch covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot, AI Overviews and AI Mode, and adds search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs to its prompts.

One limit to watch. Ceyo's plans see two models on Core, three on Grow, four on Pro+. If you are letting an agent optimise against the data, it only optimises against the models you can see.

Diagnose

Ceyo diagnoses the site: schema errors, robots.txt blocks, pages the model ignores, all ranked in an Actions list by expected lift. Promptwatch diagnoses the relationship between crawler and answer. Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler, flags errors, and traces the path from crawl to citation. A missing FAQ schema is one kind of problem. A bot that never reached the page is another, and only one of these tools shows it clearly.

Act

Here the two are complementary rather than equal. Ceyo's Technical Agent applies schema and crawlability fixes on domains you authorise, logged and reversible. Its Content Agent is in beta for Pro+ and Enterprise. Promptwatch does not patch your site. Its Content Agents run gap analysis, plan and write articles, and publish to Webflow or Framer after review; Agent Chat answers questions over live data; Unified Actions produces the to-do list. Essential includes 5 AEO articles, Professional 15, Business 30.

Verify

Ceyo's AI Analytics reports AI agent requests, with a headline figure and a trend. Promptwatch's visitor analytics goes further and ties AI-referred sessions to conversions, with citation trends showing how sources and volume move between checks. If you hand an agent the keys, this is the layer that tells you whether to keep doing it.

Verdict

If the job is shipping schema and crawl repairs with no developer, Ceyo does that well and is cheap to start. If the job is an autonomous content pipeline you can audit, with crawler and conversion evidence feeding back into the next decision, Promptwatch is the more complete platform, and its MCP server lets your own agents use that data. We would rank it first for that reason. Try the free plan with your real prompts, and see our list of Ceyo alternatives if neither fits.
