GetMint vs Promptwatch: features, pricing and which to pick

GetMint vs Promptwatch compared on engines, prompts, pricing, crawler logs, citations and content, with sourced numbers and a clear pick for each type of team.

GetMint and Promptwatch both track how AI engines mention a brand, and both pair that with content tooling. They differ in depth, in how the plans are cut, and in what happens after the tracking. This comparison uses each vendor's published pricing and feature descriptions. Where a number is not published, we say so.

Quick verdict

Promptwatch is the stronger pick for most teams, because it covers the whole loop: prompt tracking, citation analytics, AI crawler logs, visitor analytics with conversions, and a Content Agent. GetMint is a credible European option for a brand that wants a tracker, a to-do list and a small monthly content allowance at a low entry price. Its limits show at the entry tier: two AI models, one country, and one article a month.

What each tool is

GetMint (getmint.ai) tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Alexa for Shopping mention and recommend a brand. It adds a GEO agent that ranks next moves and a Content Studio that writes briefs and articles. Data refreshes daily. The homepage says it covers ten engines, while the plan table gives 2 AI models on Starter, 3 on Growth and a custom set on Enterprise.

Promptwatch is an AI search visibility and GEO platform. Beyond tracking, it shows why you are visible (IP-verified AI crawler logs), where AI finds your content (citation analytics down to page, Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn), what traffic it drives (visitor analytics with conversions), and how to improve (content generation and automated optimization). It also folds in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster data through Search Insights.

GetMint's €74 and €299 are shown with the yearly toggle selected, and the monthly rates are not printed on the page. Promptwatch's prices are monthly billing in USD, and its 7-day free trial is on monthly billing for Essential, Professional and the first two agency plans.

Coverage and limits

Prompts and models. GetMint Starter includes 50+ prompts, 2 topics, 5 competitors and 1 country, tracked on 2 AI models. Growth adds 300+ prompts, 5 topics, 10 competitors and 3 countries on 3 models. Promptwatch Essential has 50 prompts, Professional 150 and Business 350, and every paid plan includes all active models. Agency plans include unlimited prompts.

Engines. Promptwatch monitors ChatGPT Search, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, Amazon Alexa and Meta AI through the real interfaces, with Claude, DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok and others tracked via API. GetMint names ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, AI Overviews and Alexa for Shopping, and adds shopping coverage that includes Alexa for Shopping.

Crawler logs and traffic. This is the biggest difference. GetMint's listing documents no AI crawler-log product and no visitor analytics tying AI-referred traffic to conversions. Promptwatch's Agent Analytics shows named bots such as GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot with a crawl-to-citation path per page, and visitor analytics report AI-referred conversions. Crawler logs start on Professional, so they are not part of Essential.

Citations. GetMint has a Sources Explorer and content gaps. Promptwatch's citation analytics go further: page and domain level, Page Tracker, offsite mentions, Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn reports, and Citation Trends with first-cited date and decay half-life per page.

Content and optimization

GetMint's GEO agent ranks missing prompts, citation gaps, content fixes and technical issues. The Content Studio allowance is small on lower plans: one brief and article a month on Starter, six on Growth.

Promptwatch has an Action Board with a weekly Discovery agent, and on Business a Content Agent that plans, writes and publishes on a schedule, with a review inbox or a hands-off mode with a quality check. It publishes to WordPress, Webflow and Framer. Content Agent publishing is not on agency plans.

Who should pick which

  • Pick GetMint if you are a smaller European brand, want a low euro entry price with a no-card trial, and a few articles a month are enough. It is also worth a look if Alexa for Shopping coverage matters.
  • Pick Promptwatch if you need to know why you are or are not cited, want crawler logs and AI-referred conversions, track several countries, or run client work and need agency plans with unlimited projects and prompts.
  • Pick neither yet if you only want a quick check. Promptwatch's free tools include an AI Visibility Report that needs no login.

How to decide in a week

Take 20 prompts that matter to your business. Run them in a free GetMint trial and in Promptwatch's free tier, remembering that Explore covers ChatGPT only. Compare the competitor lists, the citations and the suggested actions. Then check one thing neither dashboard can show you from a distance: whether the crawlers can reach your pages. If you need that answer, the choice is made for you.

No tool can guarantee a recommendation. Both give you a measurement and a to-do list, and the quality of your pages does the rest.
