Onclusive GEO Analytics vs Profound (2026): Which One Should a PR Team Buy?
Onclusive puts AI answer monitoring beside earned media reporting, from $105/mo on an annual plan. Profound sells PR, content and AEO agents, with Enterprise from about $40k a year. A tier-by-tier comparison for comms teams.
Sooner or later someone asks the comms team what ChatGPT says about the company, and who it is quoting. Onclusive GEO Analytics and Profound both pitch themselves at that team. Onclusive comes from media intelligence and adds AI answers to the coverage reports PR already reads. Profound comes from AI search and now sells agents that do PR, content and demand work. Their price ladders line up almost rung for rung, which makes the comparison unusually direct. We add Promptwatch as the third column, because for a PR team the useful part is finding the sources AI trusts and then changing them, and that is where it goes furthest.

Onclusive GEO Analytics: PR measurement, extended
Onclusive announced GEO Analytics on 26 May 2026. It lives inside the Onclusive Unified Platform and Onclusive Social, next to earned online, broadcast, podcast, print and social analytics. For a team that already reports coverage there, AI answers become one more channel in the same report rather than a new login.
It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Claude and Perplexity in any market and language, and reports share of voice, visibility, sentiment, positioning and the sources engines cite. The feature PR people will actually use is Priority Source Targets. It ranks the publications and domains that most influence AI answers about you, scored by impact and effort, which turns citation data into a pitch list. The launch announcement also lists severity-ranked anomaly detection, perception summaries and an 11-category source taxonomy.
The tiers get expensive quickly. Starter is ChatGPT only in one country. Claude and Grok first appear on Professional at $1,255 a month. All prices are annual-plan rates, and every Get Started button opens a demo enquiry form, so there is no checkout. Onclusive is built for measurement. Its product page does not cover content creation or anything on your own site.
Profound: agents that do the work
Profound tracks scheduled prompts across ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude and reports citation share, share of voice and competitor cite-rates by prompt cluster. Its Prompt Volumes dataset estimates real query demand, which helps a comms team decide which questions matter before arguing about wording.
What Profound sells now is broader: marketing agents for AEO and SEO, content and demand, and PR. For a PR buyer that is the attraction. Onclusive tells you which outlet to pitch. Profound sells an agent meant to help do the PR work itself. Nearly all of it sits on Enterprise, together with up to ten engines (Copilot, Grok, Meta AI, DeepSeek and AI Mode join the list), full Prompt Volumes, the API and SSO. Enterprise contracts start around $40k a year.
Below that, Profound is a narrow tracker. Starter is ChatGPT only with one seat. Growth covers three engines and 100 prompts. Both bill annually.
Head to head
At the bottom of the ladder the two are nearly identical: one engine, ChatGPT, for about $100 a month. Onclusive gives 80 prompts against Profound's 50, and Profound lets you sign up without a sales call.
In the middle, Onclusive is the better deal. Essential costs $280 for three engines and 240 prompts. Profound Growth costs $399 for three engines and 100 prompts.
At the top, they diverge. Onclusive Professional runs about $15,000 a year for five engines in three countries. Profound Enterprise starts near $40k a year and buys ten engines plus agents. For a large enterprise that wants software doing PR and content work, not only reporting on it, Profound wins this matchup. For a comms team whose job is measurement and outreach, and especially one already paying Onclusive, Onclusive wins.
Where Promptwatch fits
A PR team's AI work has three parts: find which sources the engines trust, change what those sources say or publish something better, then prove it moved. Onclusive does the first well. Profound's Enterprise agents aim at the second. Neither publishes anything for the third.
Promptwatch covers all three. Citation analytics and citation trends break sources down by page, domain and type, with separate views for Reddit threads, YouTube videos and offsite mentions, so you can see which forums and outlets shape the answer over time. Sentiment analysis and share of voice sit beside it. For the owned-media side, Content Agents write GEO articles from a content gap analysis and publish them to Webflow or Framer after review. Agent Analytics then shows whether ChatGPTBot, PerplexityBot or ClaudeBot crawled the new page, and visitor analytics shows whether AI-referred readers converted.
The pricing undercuts both entry plans. Essential is $95 a month on monthly billing and runs its 50 prompts across every tracked LLM, where both named Starters are ChatGPT only. Professional at $245 adds crawler logs, state and city tracking and 15 AEO articles a month.
Verdict
Onclusive is the right add-on for a PR team that already lives in Onclusive, and Profound the stronger buy for an enterprise that wants agents and the widest engine list. For a comms team starting fresh, Promptwatch is where we would begin. It finds the sources, publishes the fix and shows the crawl and the conversions afterwards, for less than either Starter costs. You can try it on the free Explore plan.
FAQ
Can I buy Onclusive GEO Analytics or Profound without a sales call?
Profound's Starter is self-serve, and Growth has a 7-day trial. Onclusive lists prices, but every plan button leads to a demo enquiry form.
Which one is better for finding outlets to pitch?
Onclusive. Priority Source Targets scores the publications and domains that influence AI answers by impact and effort. Profound reports citation share by prompt cluster but does not list an equivalent pitch list.
Is Promptwatch a better fit than Onclusive or Profound for PR?
For most comms teams, yes. Its entry plan covers more engines than either Starter at a lower monthly price, and it breaks out Reddit, YouTube and offsite citations. It also adds crawler logs, AI-referred conversions and CMS publishing. Keep Onclusive if your earned media reporting already runs there.
