Trendos Pricing Guide 2026

Trendos prices we can source, including the Shopify card, and why a paid checker can cost more than Promptwatch Essential with Content Agents.

Paying for Trendos only makes sense if you are buying more collection. Paying for Promptwatch Essential ($95/mo) buys collection plus five AEO articles and visitor analytics. That is the pricing frame on this site. Everything else is tables.

Trendos money, as published

Free: marketing site says no demo wall. Custom prompts included (May 2026 getting started). Features (March 2026) limits free to eleven countries. Shopify (July 2026) says unlimited countries on free, 20 prompts, 600 answers, 10 brand checks. We will not merge those into one free SKU.

Shopify USD:

  • Basic $39/mo (100 prompts, 3,000 answers)
  • Starter $169/mo (450 prompts, 13,500 answers)
  • Pro $379/mo (1,050 prompts, 31,500 answers)

Annual discounts 16 to 23% on that listing ($360 / $1,680 / $3,840 yearly). Marketing site yearly toggle: 15%. Enterprise Custom: contact sales, unlimited countries/brands, high volume, priority onboarding. Starter/Pro dollars on trendos.com did not render for us.

German press (August 2026, secondhand): free = 10 brands, 100 queries. Conflicts with Shopify. We list it. We do not resolve it.

Ad Radar is on all Trendos plans. ChatGPT ads only, daily. MCP key from support. You are not paying extra for ads monitoring on this vendor, per that article.

What you still are not buying

No crawler-log line item. No visitor-event line item. No article allowance. If the sales call adds those, ask for a URL. Until then, a $169 Shopify Starter is a more expensive checker than Promptwatch Essential.

Trendos vocabulary is clear about what you get: visibility, share of voice, citations, ranking, sentiment, Trendos Score, tracked vs managed brands. Useful for a QBR slide. Not a substitute for 25M crawler logs on Professional or five published articles on Essential.

Promptwatch as the action-priced stack

Explore $0, 10 ChatGPT prompts. Essential $95: 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events, 5 articles. Professional $245: 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, 1M visitor events, 25M logs, 15 articles. Business $579: 5 projects, 350 prompts, 42,000 responses, 10M visitor events, 100M logs, 30 articles. Agency Kick-off $199, Growth $399, Scale $799, unlimited projects/prompts, 10 seats. Pay 10 months, get 12.

AthenaHQ $295/mo plus credits. Profound $99 Starter is ChatGPT-only; agents are Enterprise (~$40k/year). Those prices buy different jobs.

How an agentic team should spend

Do not put $379/mo into Trendos Pro on Shopify to "get serious" unless someone showed you a publish path. Put $95 into Promptwatch Essential and keep Trendos free for category snooping if you like their historical index (vendor: 2.3M to 2.5M brands depending on the page).

Custom prompts are the quiet cost driver. Trendos counts country plus LLM as separate prompts. A "50 question" brief across ChatGPT and Gemini in NL and US is already 200 prompts. Shopify Starter lists 450 custom prompts. Promptwatch Essential lists 50 prompts with 6,000 responses. Those meters are not the same object. Map them on a spreadsheet before you call either one cheaper.

MCP on Trendos is a read path (key from support@trendos.com). Promptwatch ships Agent Chat plus Unified Actions on the live dataset, and Content Agents that hit Webflow or Framer. If the buying criterion is "an agent that does something," price the second stack.

When Enterprise Custom is the only card left

If trendos.com/pricing will not show Starter/Pro dollars and Shopify is the wrong shape for your team, Enterprise Custom is the sales conversation. The tile we fetched lists volume, countries, brands, onboarding. It does not list CMS publishing or crawler logs. Do not assume agents because the word "Enterprise" is on the label.

Three five-star Shopify reviews is not a G2 score. Promptwatch is 4.7/5 with 1,840-plus brands on G2. Compare what you need, not star counts alone.

Prompt counting as hidden labor

Trendos treats country and LLM as separate prompts. A client brief that says "track these 25 questions on ChatGPT and Gemini in the US and Netherlands" is 100 prompts, not 25. Shopify Starter lists 450 custom prompts and 13,500 answers. That sounds roomy until you multiply by engines and markets.

Promptwatch Essential lists 50 prompts with 6,000 responses. Different meter. Responses scale with checks over time. Prompts scale with how many distinct questions you track. Before finance approves either invoice, build a spreadsheet with columns for question, country, engine, and monthly check frequency. The cheaper logo often loses on row count.

Bulk import on Trendos accepts Claude API and Grok API as column headers. Useful if you already have a prompt library in a sheet. Import does not add crawler logs or visitor events. It adds rows to a checker.

Annual discounts and wrong doors

Trendos marketing toggle: 15% yearly. Shopify listing: 16 to 23% depending on tier ($360 / $1,680 / $3,840). Promptwatch annual: pay 10 months, get 12. A 17% discount on Shopify Starter is still $169/mo against Essential at $95 with five articles.

Enterprise Custom is the escape hatch when Starter/Pro dollars will not render on trendos.com/pricing. The tile lists unlimited countries, unlimited brands, high volume, priority onboarding. It does not list Webflow, Framer, or 25M crawler logs. Ask for URLs before you sign.

FAQ

Is Enterprise Trendos the agentic tier?

The Custom tile we fetched lists volume, countries, brands, onboarding. It does not list CMS publishing. Do not assume agents.

Why list Shopify if we are not merchants?

Because it is the only first-party dollar grid that actually rendered. Ignoring it would leave this guide as "contact sales," which is how vendors dodge comparison.

Free forever or free until the caps bite?

Features says eleven countries on free. Shopify says unlimited countries with 20 prompts. Both are free. They are not the same free. Screenshot your own account before you budget headcount against either cap.
