Wellows Alternatives in 2026

Wellows tells you which AI citations you are missing and leaves the fixing to you. These alternatives write, publish, ship code fixes, and check whether the work got crawled and converted.

Teams rarely leave Wellows because its data is wrong. They leave because the to-do list keeps growing. Quick Wins, Content Opportunities, and the Outreach list all generate work, and all of it comes back to the team. KIVA drafts arrive in WordPress waiting for an editor. Outreach emails go out when somebody finds the time to send them.

If that is your bottleneck, a better list will not help. You need a tool that finishes more of the job. That is the only thing we ranked on below.

What you would give up

Be clear about it before you switch. Wellows runs all five of its engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, and Gemini) on every plan, with unlimited prompts, projects, and seats drawing on one monthly answer balance. The entry plan costs $29 a month. Its split between explicit citations (your own page cited) and implicit ones (a third-party page that mentions you) is easy to explain to a client, and turning cited pages that never mention you into an outreach list with contacts is a smart idea that few tools copy.

What Wellows does not publish: Claude or Copilot tracking, AI crawler logs, conversion tracking for AI-referred visits, prompt search volumes, or an agent that publishes on a schedule. Every tool below fills at least one of those gaps.

Ranked by how much of the loop they close

1. Promptwatch

Promptwatch is the only option here that monitors, diagnoses, publishes, and then checks the outcome. Monitoring covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot, and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, read from the real interfaces. Prompts come with search volumes and difficulty scores, which Wellows deliberately leaves out, so you can tell a busy prompt from a dead one before spending effort on it.

The acting part is Content Agents. They work from content gap analysis, plan and write GEO articles, and publish to Webflow, Framer, or WordPress through a review inbox. The fully automated Content Agent is on Business ($579 a month) and Enterprise; Professional ($245) includes 5 AEO articles a month. Agent Analytics reads AI crawler logs from your CDN, so you can see whether a bot fetched the new page, and visitor analytics links AI-referred sessions to conversions. Agent Chat and Unified Actions turn all of that into a next step, and an MCP server plus REST API ship on every paid plan.

The free Explore plan covers 10 prompts on ChatGPT only. Essential is $95 a month. Agencies start at Kick-off for $199 with unlimited projects and prompts, 10 seats, and crawler logs, though agency plans do not include the automated Content Agent. One honest loss: a contact-email outreach list like Wellows' is not part of Promptwatch's published feature list, even though it tracks Reddit, YouTube, and offsite citations.

2. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ acts through an Action Center that turns gaps into assignable optimization tasks, plus a content optimization agent and automated schema and entity tagging. Starter is $295 a month for 3,600 credits, one credit per AI response, across 11 models with unlimited prompts and competitors. It lists GA4, Shopify, and Webflow revenue attribution, which is one more feedback signal than Wellows publishes.

The catches are on our listing: Starter is single-country, recommendations still need editing before they ship, there are no crawler analytics, and G2 reviewers report burning a month of credits in the first week. People still do the publishing.

3. Am I Cited

Am I Cited is the closest like-for-like swap. It is credit-based like Wellows, starts from 50 euros a month, and watches eight engines on every plan, including Claude, Copilot, and Grok. The vendor bundles content agents that it says turn visibility gaps into published pages; our listing does not document the CMS targets or a review inbox. Credits do not roll over, and its MCP server is Enterprise-only.

4. Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI acts on the crawler side. Its Agent Experience Platform serves AI-optimized versions of pages to LLM crawlers without changing what people see. That is a real action, but AXP sits on Enterprise. Core is $250 a month for 125 prompts and 5,000 responses on four LLMs, with AI agent and bot traffic reporting. Our listing records vague optimization advice and weekly refreshes as complaints, and Sitecore acquired it in June 2026.

5. Okara

Okara ships technical SEO and GEO fixes as GitHub pull requests, daily, and nothing merges without your approval. Its Coding Agent starts on AI CMO Lite at $129 a month, which also tracks 15 AI search prompts. It fixes schema, llms.txt, and head tags, not content gaps or citations.

6. Seology

Seology splits issues into ones it fixes and ones it flags, and you choose how much freedom it gets: Monitor, Co-pilot, or Autopilot. Starter is free for one site and 50 auto-fixes a month; Pro is $49 a month for five sites. Its audit includes GEO checks, but it does not track citations the way Wellows does.

7. Outrank and SEObot

Outrank ($99 a month for 30 articles) and SEObot (from $49 a month for 9 articles) both write and publish to your CMS on a schedule. Neither publishes prompt tracking across AI engines, so they produce volume without telling you whether any of it gets cited. Pair one with a measurement layer or skip them.

Further down: the action layer sits behind Enterprise

Writesonic GEO tracks three engines on self-serve plans and keeps its Action Center for Enterprise, with only a trial of it on Growth. Profound sells credit-based marketing agents, but the real product is Enterprise with custom pricing, which our listing puts around $40k a year. Pure prompt trackers are not on this list at all. Moving to one would be a step backwards from Wellows.

Choosing

Start from what keeps piling up. If it is drafts that never get published, you want an agent with a publishing path and an approval step. If it is technical debt, Okara or Seology will clear it faster than a person. If you cannot tell which of last month's citations brought in customers, you need crawler logs and conversion data more than another list.

Only one tool here covers all three, which is why Promptwatch sits at the top. Start on Explore to see the prompt data, then move to Business when you want the Content Agent publishing for you.
