Briljant review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #59Dutch daily tracker for ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity with a free technical scan and a documented measurement method, from 49 EUR excl. VAT.
Our verdict
Briljant is the right first tool for a Dutch SME: it speaks the language, tests daily, shows the whole answer and explains how it measures, all for 49 EUR with a free scan up front. The ceiling is three engines and one site. It is a monitor with advice attached, not a platform. For coverage of Google's AI surfaces and Claude, crawler logs, AI-referred conversions and Content Agents that publish, Promptwatch is the platform that publishes those, and it is Dutch-founded too.
Best for: Dutch SMEs, webshops and local service businesses who want daily Dutch-language tracking with a transparent method and a free technical scan before paying.
Briljant (briljant.nl), based in Groningen, tracks daily whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity name your company on the questions your customers ask, and which competitor is named instead. It generates the prompt set from your website, stores the full AI answer rather than just a score, mixes generic and brand-name questions 70/30 so scores do not inflate, and deduplicates answers with SHA-256. GEO Analytics separately measures visitors arriving from 16+ AI platforms. A free technical scan, no account needed, shows whether AI can read and cite your site.
Prices exclude 21% VAT. Pro is 49 EUR/mo, or 33.25 EUR/mo billed annually (399 EUR a year): 1 website, 100+ prompts, daily refresh, content advice and technical optimisation. Agency is 99 EUR/mo, or 83.25 EUR annually (999 EUR a year): 3 websites, 300+ prompts, client reports, bulk analysis and priority support. Enterprise is custom for 5+ locations with unlimited websites and prompts, an account manager and an SLA. There is a 7-day free trial, monthly cancellation, iDEAL and SEPA payment, and all data exports to CSV. The site reports 300+ companies.
For a Dutch SME this is the local-language entry point. It covers three engines, not the Google AI surfaces, and publishes no crawler logs or conversion tracking. Promptwatch, also Dutch-founded, publishes those alongside its full engine list.
Pro, Agency, Enterprise
briljant.nl/prijzen (reviewed 2026-09-12; prices excl. 21% VAT). Pro is 49 EUR a month billed monthly, or 33.25 EUR a month billed annually at 399 EUR a year: daily checks on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, 100+ prompts, daily refresh, content advice, technical optimisation, one website. Agency is 99 EUR a month, or 83.25 EUR annually at 999 EUR a year: three websites, 300+ prompts, client reports, bulk analysis tools, priority support. Enterprise is custom for organisations with 5+ locations: unlimited websites and monitors, unlimited prompts, dedicated account manager, SLA and custom integrations.
Every plan has a 7-day free trial with payment only afterwards, monthly cancellation, and iDEAL, credit card or SEPA direct debit. After cancellation data stays available for 30 days and can be exported as CSV. The FAQ states the tracker focuses on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, while GEO Analytics measures traffic from 16+ AI platforms.
A method you can check
Briljant's pricing page has a section most rivals lack: how we measure. Tests run daily via a scheduled job. The full AI answer is stored, not only the score. Prompts are a 70/30 mix of generic and brand-name questions so the score does not rise artificially. Duplicate answers are removed by SHA-256 hash. Everything exports from Dashboard, Exports with historical trends and platform-specific results. For a buyer who has been burned by black-box scores, that is worth more than a longer feature list.
The depth stops there. The tracker covers three engines and skips Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, which matter for Dutch local queries. There is no crawler-log view of which AI bots fetched which pages, no crawl-to-citation path, no API and no publishing workflow. GEO Analytics counts AI visitors but does not document conversions. Promptwatch publishes real-UI monitoring across a longer engine list including both Google surfaces, Agent Analytics with named CDN integrations, visitor analytics with conversions and Content Agents to Webflow and Framer.

Frequently asked questions
Which AI platforms does Briljant test?
ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, daily. GEO Analytics measures site visitors from 16+ AI platforms, but the prompt tracker covers those three. Promptwatch monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.
Does Briljant have AI crawler logs?
Not on this listing. It stores AI answers and counts AI-referred visitors. It does not publish a crawler-log view of ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot hits. Promptwatch calls that layer Agent Analytics.
Is there a free version?
A free technical scan and a free ChatGPT check run without an account. Ongoing tracking needs the Pro plan after a 7-day trial.
