Veesie vs Briljant (2026): two Benelux trackers, one weekly and one daily
Veesie measures weekly in Dutch, French and English from 29 EUR/mo; Briljant tests daily on three engines from 49 EUR/mo. Both monitor and advise. Neither ships the fix.
The one-sentence difference: Veesie is a weekly tracker that can ask each question in Dutch, French or English for a Belgian, Dutch or Luxembourg market, and Briljant is a Dutch daily tracker with a bigger prompt set on fewer engines. Both are honest about their methods. Both stop at advice. Neither writes or publishes the page that would close a gap, which is the yardstick this site uses.

How Veesie works
Once a week Veesie sends your questions to the providers with their search function switched on: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews on every plan, plus Claude and Gemini from Plus. Claude and Gemini get each question up to three times and Veesie keeps the majority answer. Per answer it records whether your brand is named, where, in what context and with what sentiment, plus the sources cited.
Its GEO Score runs from 0 to 100 and weights mention rate at 50%, sentiment 25%, source coverage 15% and position 10%. It is calculated on the first three engines only, so Claude and Gemini show up beside the score rather than inside it.
The plans: Starter at 29 EUR has 20 questions and one manual extra run a month. Plus at 59 EUR has 30 questions, all five engines, the 20-check AI-Readiness Audit and the three highest-impact recommendations after each run. Pro at 99 EUR shares 50 questions across two sites, adds all recommendations, an action plan, a content check per page and a GA4 connection. Agency at 450 EUR, on request, covers three sites with 50 questions each and white-label reports.
Veesie defends the weekly cadence with its own test of 25 August 2026: five runs on one site with 12 questions scored 85, 87, 84, 88 and 85. That's a fair argument for a weekly index. It also means a fix shows up a week later at best. Veesie states plainly that its measurement goes via the providers and is not a copy of what a user sees in the app.
How Briljant works
Briljant, based in Groningen, tests daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. It generates the prompt set from your website, stores the full answer rather than only a score, mixes generic and brand-name questions 70/30 so the score doesn't inflate, and removes duplicate answers by SHA-256 hash. GEO Analytics separately counts visitors arriving from 16+ AI platforms. A free technical scan runs without an account.
Pro at 49 EUR covers one website with 100+ prompts, content advice and technical optimisation. Agency at 99 EUR covers three websites, 300+ prompts, client reports and bulk analysis. Enterprise is custom for 5+ locations. Everything exports to CSV.
The ceiling is three engines, with no Google AI Overviews or AI Mode in the tracker, and no API on the pricing page.
Who should pick which
Pick Veesie if you're a bilingual Belgian brand. Measuring the same question in Dutch and in French, for the Belgian market, is something Briljant's listing doesn't describe, and it's the actual question a Brussels or Ghent business needs answered. Plus at 59 EUR is the sensible tier, since Starter skips two engines.
Pick Briljant if you're a Dutch SME that wants more prompts and faster feedback. 100+ prompts tested daily for 49 EUR is a lot of signal for the money.
On the agentic scale they score about the same. Veesie's Pro action plan and per-page content check go a little further than Briljant's advice, but in both cases you write and publish the fix yourself.
The Promptwatch option
Both tools tell you whether you're named. Neither shows whether AI crawlers can reach the page you'd fix, and neither ships the fix. Promptwatch, founded in Amsterdam, covers both. Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler with a crawl-to-citation path and error tracking. Content Agents plan from a content gap analysis, write, and publish to Webflow, Framer or WordPress through a review inbox. Visitor analytics ties AI-referred visits to conversions, which goes past Briljant's visitor count and Veesie's read-only GA4 split.
Essential at $95/mo gives 50 prompts across all tracked engines, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events and five AEO articles. Professional at $245/mo adds the crawler logs (25M), 150 prompts and state and city tracking. Prices are also available in EUR.
That costs more than either tracker. The difference is that the tool does part of the work.
Verdict
For pure monitoring, Veesie wins for bilingual Belgium and Briljant wins for daily Dutch coverage. If the goal is to change what AI says about you rather than watch it weekly, start with Promptwatch Essential and move to Professional once you need crawler logs.
