CrowdReply review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #8AI visibility tracker plus a Reddit engagement engine that posts from persona accounts, billed as a subscription and credits.
Our verdict
CrowdReply is a Reddit placement product with an AI visibility dashboard attached. $99 looks cheap until you count $10 comments against a $50 credit pack. Use it if you want managed community posts. Use Promptwatch if you need crawler logs, page-level Reddit and YouTube citation analytics, conversions, or CMS publishing. Many teams will want a measurement platform even if they also buy placements.
Best for: Teams that will pay to have Reddit comments and threads posted from CrowdReply's account network, and will treat the AI tracker as the reporting sidecar.
CrowdReply sells three layers on one login: AI search tracking (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude named on the homepage FAQ), social listening on Reddit (Quora and Facebook on higher listening tiers), and an Engagement Engine that places comments and threads through community profiles on your behalf.
Public plans on crowdreply.io/pricing (fetched 2026-08-26): Starter $99/mo, Growth $299/mo, Enterprise from $499/mo. Each plan includes engagement credits ($50 / $200 / $300). A 7-day trial covers tracking and listening; the Engagement Engine needs a paid plan. The pricing page links to G2 and displays 4.9.
CrowdReply covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

What 'we post for you' means
The Engagement Engine finds Reddit (and, later, Quora/Facebook) threads, drafts or accepts your copy, and posts through 'trusted community profiles' and 'persona-based established community accounts.' That is the product. The 7-day trial does not include it. If your legal or comms team will not approve third-party accounts speaking as community members, this SKU is a non-starter regardless of the tracker.
The Backlinks Marketplace is a separate buy: 40,000+ publishers, DR/traffic/country/citation-rate filters, articles, insertions, brand mentions, 12-month replacement. Treat marketplace fees as extra unless a proposal says otherwise. The homepage '4.9' figure is a G2 link on the pricing page. 'Trusted by 5,000+ brands' is vendor copy. Named logos include Omio, Instantly, NP Digital, Facetune, Wodify, Creatio, Kamatera, Stripo. Testimonials (Marcus A, Michal H, Adrina W, Patrick / Optimal Bet) are vendor quotes, including a '$1M extra revenue' claim we did not audit.

CrowdReply vs Promptwatch?
