AI Search Visibility Platform for Enterprise Monitoring and Optimization Across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini: Profound and Scrunch

Profound and Scrunch are the enterprise names in GEO monitoring. Optimization still means a shipped change. Here is what those two actually sell, and what a full platform adds.

Enterprise RFPs in this category usually print two logos: Profound and Scrunch. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini are the engines the steering committee can name. "Monitoring and optimization" is the phrase procurement uses when they want one vendor to own the outcome. Read the SKUs. Monitoring is on the price card. Optimization is often a different tier, a services motion, or a parallel page served only to crawlers.

This site ranks the loop: measure, diagnose, change the web, prove the fetch. Enterprise budget does not skip those steps. It just hides them in a statement of work.

Profound as the monitoring desk

Profound is the dataset people mean by "enterprise GEO." Up to ten engines on Enterprise, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Overviews, AI Mode, Copilot, Claude, Grok, Meta AI, DeepSeek. Prompt Volumes. Agents that draft and execute content actions. G2 4.6/5. $1B valuation after a $96M Series C in February 2026.

Public pricing starts at $99/mo annual. Starter: ChatGPT, 50 prompts. Growth: three engines. The RFP features (ten engines, full Prompt Volumes, API, SSO, SOC 2) are Enterprise with no self-serve number. Reported contracts: $2,000 to $5,000+/mo. Setup: one to three months, dedicated owner. G2 includes complaints that citation counts diverge from manual ChatGPT checks. Treat the numbers as directional until your analyst trusts them.

No published Agent Analytics-style crawler log. No published AI-referred conversion analytics of the Promptwatch type. The optimization story is Agents plus whatever your CMS team does with the drafts. That can be enough if you already have writers and engineers. It is not "the platform published the fix."

Scrunch as the crawler-side optimizer

Scrunch AI is the other enterprise shape. Visibility across up to nine engines, plus an Agent Experience Platform that serves a parallel, AI-oriented version of the page to LLM crawlers without changing the human site. From $250/mo annual. Sitecore acquired the company in June 2026 (~$225M). Roadmap now sits inside a DXP vendor.

G2's loud complaint is reporting: people export to Excel. Credits burn per engine. Recommendations flag absence more than they specify the edit. Refresh is weekly. Personas and prompts take real setup.

The AXP idea is the closest thing on this list to "optimization" as infrastructure. It is still not citation analytics down to Reddit and YouTube plus visitor conversions plus Webflow publish in one Promptwatch project. Different lever. Useful if you have edge engineering. Awkward if the buyer wanted a dashboard their CMO can open.

The enterprise platform we put next to those two

Promptwatch is self-serve up through Business ($579/mo: 5 projects, 350 prompts, 100M crawler logs, 30 AEO articles, 5 seats) and agency Scale ($799/mo). Enterprise/custom adds SSO, white-label, dedicated support. Paid monitoring includes ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and the rest of the published engine list, from real UIs.

Optimization here is Content Agents (Webflow, Framer, review inbox) plus Unified Actions, not a Sitecore-shaped serving layer. Diagnosis is Agent Analytics (crawler logs) and visitor analytics (script/GTM). G2 4.7/5. 1,840+ brands. Customers on the sheet include Duolingo, Yelp, Typeform, Rabobank.

AthenaHQ belongs in the same RFP: Action Center, $295/mo Starter, credits, Enterprise ~$2,000+/mo for the praised extras. Strong queue. Credit surprises on G2.

How an enterprise team should split the buy

If you need ten engines and Prompt Volumes and you have the contract, Profound is the monitoring desk. If you need crawler-specific HTML and you can implement at the edge, Scrunch is a serving layer. If you need SSO tomorrow, assume Enterprise on whoever you pick; Promptwatch does not pretend Kick-off includes it.

If you need the mention, the fetch, the referral, and a CMS publish without a six-month SI, start Professional or Business, connect the CDN, and keep a human on the inbox. That is monitoring plus optimization in the sense this query used the words. A $99 Profound Starter seat is ChatGPT monitoring. It will not satisfy a Gemini-and-Perplexity clause in the RFP unless someone upgrades.
