Hikoo vs Okara (2026): two agents that do the work, in different places
Hikoo fixes pages, suggests content and runs source outreach from €69/mo per site. Okara's Coding Agent ships SEO fixes as GitHub pull requests from $129/mo.
Hikoo does its work on your pages, your content and the outside sources AI engines cite, while Okara does its work in your code repository, as pull requests. Both are in our Agentic SEO automation category, which means both get past the report and into execution.
Hikoo's details were read on tryhikoo.com/en/pricing and its llms.txt on 20 October 2026. Okara's come from our catalog entry, which was fetched from Okara's homepage, pricing page and FAQ on 5 September 2026. Hikoo prices exclude VAT and are per site per month.

How Hikoo works
Hikoo SAS is a French company founded in February 2026 by Gabriel Toledano and Timothé Merle and incubated at Campus Founders. It calls itself "the action layer for your AI visibility tools": it takes data from its own daily monitoring or from a tracker you already use and works on four fronts. It audits pages the way AI engines read them and prepares fixes, suggests and updates content, finds the sources AI engines cite and contacts them, and ties each gain to the action behind it in reports.
For each front you decide what runs on its own and what waits for you, and every action is logged. Page fixes arrive with before-and-after text, and Hikoo gives a page another pass if the brand still does not show up more often. A team also scopes and supervises the work with you, so expect a service element on Agent.
The plan ladder matters here, because most of the agentic work sits at the top. Free gives 10 questions on ChatGPT and one content suggestion. Monitoring at €69 adds Gemini, 30 questions and 10 suggestions, with page fixes as recommendations only. Growth at €179 adds Perplexity and Copilot, 80 questions, source analysis and 30 suggestions. Agent at €499 is where fixes are prepared for you and the outreach agent runs, with 200 questions, nine engines and 150 suggestions. Annual billing saves 20%, and Monitoring and Growth have a 7-day trial with no card.
How Okara works
Okara sells a multi-agent "AI CMO" (SEO, GEO, Writer, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, UGC, Influencer and Coding agents). The Coding Agent is the one that executes. It writes JSON-LD schema, llms.txt, canonicals, meta descriptions and head tags as real code, and every batch lands as one GitHub pull request with a plain-English explanation and a diff. PRs arrive daily from the latest audit. Nothing merges without you.
Free AI CMO is analysis and strategy only. AI CMO Lite is $129 a month ($108 billed annually) with the SEO and Coding agents, a minimum of 30 articles a month and 15 AI search prompts tracked. AI CMO Pro is $249 a month ($208 annually) with every agent. Okara lists WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity, Search Console, Google Analytics and GitHub as integrations. Its catalog entry does not describe a GEO article publishing loop with a review inbox, or crawler logs, citation analytics and visitor conversions.
Who should pick which
Pick Okara if your site lives in a Git repository and developers are happy to review PRs. It is the cheaper way to get technical fixes shipped. Its 15 tracked prompts on Lite will not tell you much about AI visibility, though.
Pick Hikoo if your gaps are content and citations rather than code: thin answers, missing pages, and third-party sources that cite your rivals. The outreach agent is unusual and worth testing. Budget for Agent at €499 per site, because below that Hikoo is mostly a recommender with thin engine coverage.
The Promptwatch option
Both agents need a scoreboard they do not provide themselves. Neither publishes AI crawler logs, so neither can show that a fix was read by a bot and then cited. Hikoo itself lists Promptwatch as one of the trackers it can act on.
Promptwatch is that scoreboard and an agent of its own. Prompt tracking runs daily on paid plans with search volumes, difficulty and query fan-outs. Citation analytics go down to pages, Reddit and YouTube. Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler with a crawl-to-citation path, and visitor analytics ties AI-referred visits to conversions. On the execution side, Content Agents work from a content gap analysis, write the article and publish it to WordPress, Webflow or Framer through a review inbox.
A sensible stack: Promptwatch Professional at $245 a month (150 prompts, 25M crawler logs, 15 AEO articles) as the measurement and content layer, with Okara added if you want code fixes as PRs. If content is what you wanted from Hikoo, compare Professional's published articles with Agent's suggestions before paying €499 per site.
Verdict
Okara is the pick for code-level fixes in a repo; Hikoo is the pick for content and outreach work if you will pay for its top plan. Start with Promptwatch for the data and the publishing, then add the agent that covers what is left.
