Is Ansvisor Worth It?
Ansvisor Agent Chat writes briefs. Promptwatch Content Agents publish. Open-source plus $49 cloud. The actor is not the same. Sheet from 29 August 2026.
Agentic, on this site, means the next step happens in software. Ansvisor names Agent Chat, content briefs, MCP, and "analytics to opportunities to actions." That is an actor story. Promptwatch names Content Agents that publish to Webflow or Framer with a review inbox, plus Unified Actions on live visibility data. Those are different actors. Worth it depends which one you needed to fire.
Ansvisor is also MIT code you can self-host. That is agentic in the engineering sense. It is not a CMS publish SKU on the listing we used (29 August 2026).
What actually acts
Cloud Starter $49: 10 briefs a month, unlimited articles in Agent Chat, MCP/API, ChatGPT and Perplexity, 50 prompts, 1 brand. Growth $249: 50 briefs, 200 prompts, 4 brands, more engines on the card. README MCP: list_brands and get_visibility_summary today. Site audit of 47 signals. Query fan-out as a module. Traffic snippet for referrals and crawler behavior.
What does not act on this listing: a documented push to Webflow or Framer. Promptwatch does that. WordPress is coming on Promptwatch; Ansvisor does not fill that gap in the pages we fetched.
Self-host actor: you. Node, Yarn, Supabase, provider keys, Cloro. IS_CLOUD=false skips Stripe. BYO keys still planned. The agent does not appear until that stack is up.
Their vs Promptwatch page (15 May 2026) says Promptwatch monitors and they act. Promptwatch still has Agent Chat and Content Agents on the fact sheet. We do not outsource that ranking to Empler AI's comparison URL.
Credits of a sort: prompts, not ChatSEO-style messages
This is not a 1-credit-1-message product. Meter is prompts and briefs and audits. Starter 50 / 10 / 100. Growth 200 / 50 / 500. Compare table response analyze 4,500 vs 18,000. Trial length and plan nicknames (Pro, Lite) fight the cards. Unlimited users on Starter versus FAQ Enterprise-if-more-than-four. Engine lists fight on Claude and Grok. Flag before you automate against the API.
Founders: Gokhan Geyik, Cihan Geyik. Launch 15 May 2026. GitHub 102 stars that day. 50+ contributors is homepage copy. Changelog link still says aeohub/ansvisor.
Rank against Promptwatch's actors
| Actor | Promptwatch | Ansvisor |
|---|---|---|
| Chat over data | Agent Chat | Agent Chat (unlimited articles on cards) |
| Write and publish | Content Agents, review inbox | Briefs; articles in chat |
| Crawler loop | Agent Analytics | Snippet |
| MCP | Platform | Two tools live per README |
| Free try | Explore, 10 ChatGPT prompts | Self-host or messy 14-day copy |
Essential $95 still includes visitor events and five AEO articles. Professional $245 still includes 25M logs. Ansvisor $249 Growth is the peer on price, not $49 Starter.
Vendor 50x quote and traffic-share stats stay vendor.
When the Ansvisor actor is worth it
Yes: you want MCP against a repo you can fork, or Agent Chat briefs on two engines for $49, and someone else still owns crawler logs.
No: you thought "open source" meant the content would go live. No: you believed their May page that Promptwatch cannot act.
Pay Growth if you are matching Professional on sticker price and you accept a snippet instead of CDN logs. Pay Promptwatch Professional if the actor you lacked was the bot path and the CMS inbox. Do not swap them because both say Agent Chat.
