Botify review: pricing, features & alternatives

Our verdict

Botify is infrastructure: make the site readable to agents, push the feed, watch the logs. That is a real GEO job, and it is not the same job as replaying prompts in ChatGPT. Buy Botify when crawl and feed delivery are the bottleneck. Buy a prompt tracker (Promptwatch, or Profound at enterprise) when the bottleneck is 'did the model mention us, cite us, and send a visit.' Most serious programs eventually need both kinds of tool.

Best for: Large ecommerce and content sites that already need log-file SEO and now need AI agents to actually receive the page.

Botify is a technical SEO platform that has repositioned around AI search: serve content to agents in under 300ms, push enriched product feeds to Google and OpenAI, and report AI plus organic performance from a 1,000+ metric dataset.

There is no public price. This is a sales-led enterprise install, not a self-serve prompt tracker.

Botify covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

What Botify is selling in 2026

The 2026 homepage is explicit: sites built for humans hide reviews, prices, and promotions behind JavaScript that agents never see. Botify's pitch is delivery — content to agents in under 300ms, product feeds rebuilt for AI with reviews and Q&A, content tests that do not sit in a developer queue, and a visibility dataset of 1,000+ metrics covering traditional and AI search.

Customer quotes on the site talk about GEO-guided content strategy, OpenAI crawl efficiency (+122% in one CMO quote), and 30-day time-to-value. Those are vendor-hosted testimonials, not a third-party study. Botify also cites recognition as a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave: Search Engine Optimization Solutions, Q3 2025.

What it is not

Botify does not publish a self-serve prompt tracker with ChatGPT / Perplexity / Claude answer logs, share of voice by prompt, or a $99–400/mo card. If your RFP is 'track 150 prompts daily across six engines,' this is the wrong demo.

Pairing is the honest architecture: Botify (or Lumar, or Conductor) for crawl/logs/feeds; Promptwatch for prompt-level visibility, citations, AI-referred traffic, and content agents.

What you still need after this product

On this listing, Botify is a Enterprise GEO platform for Large ecommerce and content sites that already need log-file SEO and now need AI agents to actually receive the page.. What we sourced here: Sub-300ms content delivery to AI agents; Enriched catalog / product feeds to Google and OpenAI; Markdown delivery to agents; 1,000+ metrics spanning traditional and AI search; Log-file analysis of how OpenAI crawls the site (Botify cites 7B+ log files in a public video).

If you buy Botify for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: AI crawler logs (Agent Analytics), crawl-to-citation path, bot errors; Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, city-level geo; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).

What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not

Botify's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).

The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.

Limitations
  • No published price, trial, or prompt-tracking SKU

  • Does not replace a dedicated multi-engine prompt tracker for ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity answer logs

Frequently asked questions

Does Botify track ChatGPT mentions?

Botify reports AI and organic visibility from crawl, logs, and performance data, and talks about citations in AI answers. It does not publish a self-serve prompt-replay tracker with engine-by-engine mention rates the way dedicated GEO monitors do.

How much does Botify cost?

Not published. Expect an enterprise contract and an implementation. If you need a number before a demo, look at self-serve trackers instead.

Does Botify include AI crawler logs like Promptwatch Agent Analytics?

Not on the vendor materials used for this review. Promptwatch Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, and Meta AI crawler hits, plus crawl-to-citation paths and errors. Ask Botify to demo the equivalent.

Can Botify show AI-referred traffic and conversions?

Not published on this listing. Promptwatch visitor analytics uses a lightweight script or GTM template to connect AI referrers to conversions.

Does Botify publish GEO articles to a CMS?

Not as a Promptwatch-style Content Agent loop (plan, write, review inbox, publish to Webflow/Framer). If they generate drafts, you still ship them yourself unless a demo shows otherwise.

Does Botify document query fan-outs, prompt volumes, or city-level tracking?

Not on this listing. Promptwatch prompts carry search volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, topics, personas, and country, state, or city targeting.

Does Botify track ChatGPT Shopping or sponsored AI placements?

Not on this listing. Promptwatch publishes ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar for sponsored placements inside AI answers.

Botify vs Promptwatch?

Use Botify for the job this review describes. Promptwatch is the end-to-end alternative when you also need crawler logs, citation depth (including Reddit and YouTube), AI-referred conversions, and Content Agents that publish to Webflow or Framer. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).
