BotRank.ai review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #40Lyon-built GEO platform that scrapes real AI interfaces daily, audits your pages and ships a built-in GEO agent, all-inclusive from 89 EUR.
Our verdict
BotRank.ai is a well-rounded European platform: daily real-interface data, audits and a GEO agent for one flat price with unlimited seats. The limits are three engines per plan and a quote-only path to API, MCP and full coverage. It deserves a place above the pure trackers. When the question becomes why the score moved, which bots fetched which pages, and what the AI traffic converted into, Promptwatch publishes the crawler logs, conversions and publishing loop that BotRank.ai does not yet.
Best for: French and European brands and agencies who want daily real-interface tracking on three engines, technical GEO audits and an in-app agent, with unlimited seats and no credit metering.
BotRank.ai (botrank.ai) is a French GEO platform out of Lyon. Starter and Business let you pick three AI platforms from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity (the FAQ also lists Mistral, Grok and Claude in the full set), collected daily by scraping the real interfaces rather than APIs. Each plan bundles Prompts Studio, visibility analysis, perception and sentiment, sources analysis, AI Shopping, technical GEO audits, a prioritised roadmap and an integrated GEO agent that analyses in real time, defines prompt strategy, generates code and drafts content.
Starter is 89 EUR/mo (75 EUR billed annually) for 25 custom prompts, about 2,250 responses a month, 3 platforms, a technical scan of 5 pages, all countries and languages, and unlimited seats. Business is 289 EUR/mo (245 EUR annually) for 100 prompts, about 9,000 responses, 25 scanned pages and phone support. Custom is quote-based with unlimited queries, full engine coverage, unlimited scanning, API and MCP, SSO and a dedicated AI search expert. Every plan has a 7-day trial.
BotRank.ai pairs monitoring with an agent at a fair European price. API and MCP are Custom-only and there is no crawler-log product. Promptwatch publishes both, plus AI-referred conversions and CMS publishing.
Starter, Business and Custom
botrank.ai/pricing (reviewed 2026-09-12). Starter is 89 EUR a month, or 75 EUR billed annually, for 25 custom prompts and about 2,250 responses a month collected daily by scraping real interfaces, 3 AI platforms of your choice, a technical GEO scan of 5 pages, all countries and languages, unlimited seats and the integrated GEO agent. Business is 289 EUR, or 245 EUR annually, for 100 prompts and about 9,000 responses, 25 scanned pages and phone support on top of email and chat. Custom is quote-based with unlimited or tailored queries, full coverage across all supported engines, unlimited scanning, API and MCP, SSO and a dedicated AI search expert. The FAQ confirms a 7-day free trial on every plan and a 15% annual discount.
Feature blocks are identical across tiers: Prompts Studio, visibility analysis, perception and sentiment, sources analysis, AI Shopping, technical audits, the GEO agent, recommendations and roadmap. The FAQ lists ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Mistral, Microsoft Copilot, Grok and Claude as the full engine list.
Agent plus audit, and what is missing
Two things stand out. First, BotRank.ai collects from the real interfaces every day, which is the same choice Promptwatch makes and which avoids API-only answers that differ from what users see. Second, the GEO agent is in every plan: it reads the data, proposes a prompt strategy, ranks actions, generates code for technical fixes and drafts content. Combined with the technical scan of strategic pages, that is a complete diagnose-and-fix loop for a small team. The site's founders and Lyon base are stated on its own blog.
What is missing is the layer beneath the answer. No crawler-log view of which AI bots fetched which pages, no crawl-to-citation path, no visitor analytics attributing AI-referred sessions to conversions, and no CMS publishing with a review inbox. API and MCP are behind a quote. Promptwatch publishes all of these on self-serve plans with its full engine list, so a French team can run BotRank.ai for the daily loop and Promptwatch for the measurement stack.
